MEET DR. CERNA
Some people have the soul of a dancer. Others have
the soul of a family practice doctor. Norma Cerna, MD, has both. She has
studied dance since she was a child and participated in dance competi-
tions in high school and college. Latin folklore, Latin American folklore,
country, salsa, two-step, or jitterbug. She has it covered. She no longer
competes but uses dance for exercise and stress relief.
Trained as a family practice physician, she loves the interaction with
patients as relationships are formed. She relishes the trust that is built
between patient and physician just as she appreciates the high level of
trust between Shannon, the doctors, the nurses and the staff. She also
loves how warm and welcoming the community of San Angelo has been
to her and her family.
Also, Dr. Cerna met her husband, Colby, at Leon Springs Country
Dancehall. He is not a bad dancer himself!

ON A ROLL
To mas-
