EVENTS CALENDAR CATCH in Motion Kids’ Marathon Last Lap Celebration Thursday, April 25 San Angelo Stadium Kids’ Marathon is open to kids in kindergarten through sixth grade. They will run the final lap of the marathon they started at the first of the year from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at San Angelo Stadium. San Angelo Gives Tuesday, May 7 This 24-hour, online giving event is designed to inspire West Texans to come together and contribute in support of the life-changing work of local nonprofits. You can donate to Children’s Miracle Network through sanangelogives .org on May 7. All donations will be amplified. Annual Celebration Telethon Saturday, June 8 6 to 10 p.m. KLST-TV The Children’s Miracle Network Celebration Telethon provides the opportunity to recognize and thank our donors and sponsors while raising funds toward our annual wish list. The 4-hour show will be broadcast live on KLST from the Women’s and Children’s Conference Center at Shannon. Special segments will feature the 2019 Miracle Children and their stories. Walmart/Sam’s Club Balloon Campaign Monday, June 10, through Sunday, July 7 Walmart customers and Sam’s Club members can help “every child live better” by making a donation of $1 or more at local retailers to support Children’s Miracle Network at Shannon Medical Center. Customers and members can add a “Miracle Balloon” donation during checkout, and 100 percent of these funds will flow directly to the Shannon Medical Center.
