Hot Flash Havoc
addresses women’s health topics by shar-
ing personal stories from ordinary women and interviews
with women’s health experts that highlight menopause and
hormone replacement therapy. The event is open to the public,
and admission is free.
The movie will be preceded by a 6 p.m. reception featuring
cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. After the movie, experts from
Shannon Medical Center will lead a panel discussion includ-
ing a question-and-answer session on women’s health issues
such as menopause, perimenopause, cardiology, breast can-
cer, general health, psychology, mood swings and hormone
replacement therapy.
Panelists include Lindy Bankes, MD, psychiatrist; Samia
Benslimane, MD, cardiologist; Norma Cerna, MD, family
practice; Michelle Snuggs, MD, chief radiologist at Shannon
Women’s Imaging Center; and Lourell Sutliff, MD, OB-GYN.
